Ishara Art Foundation looks behind the scenes of No Trespassing to discover the artistic processes and curatorial conversations that shaped the exhibition – and what the streets mean to each of the artists who brought it to life.
In this episode, Salma Dib speaks about the power of writing on walls as a tool of resistance for Palestinians and other marginalised communities, a theme she explores in Generational Wall: Orders and Echoes, her work in No Trespassing. She also reflects on how writing on Ishara’s walls felt like an act of vandalism – raising questions about the value we place on the white cube space.
