Transformation 2 (Collapse) is the second of a series of six transformations of the exhibition Growing Like A Tree: Static In The Air curated by Sohrab Hura. This video is a tour of the exhibition in its second stage of transition led by Sohrab Hura and Sabih Ahmed followed by a conversation with artists Katrin Koenning, Rahee Punyashloka and Yu Yu Myint Than about their practices and their relationship with collapsing of narratives and media.

Static In The Air presents Hura’s navigation in the fields of photography and contemporary art through a tuning of sonic frequencies spanning South Asia and beyond. Resembling the act of switching radio-stations, Static In The Air takes a dynamic approach to exhibition-making through a series of curatorial interventions made between 11 – 16 September with 15 artists and collectives from Bangladesh, Germany, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

This programme is presented in the context of the exhibition Growing Like A Tree: Static In The Air that runs from 11 September to 9 December 2021.
