Suheyla Takesh is a curator at the Barjeel Art Foundation, Sharjah, where she works on research, curatorial development of exhibitions, and oversees the production of publications. Takesh holds a Master’s degree from the History, Theory, and Criticism of Architecture and Art programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since joining the Barjeel Art Foundation in 2013, she has curated numerous exhibitions and authored essays for a wide array of exhibition catalogues and peer-reviewed journals.
